There were a few points that I felt he wasn't entirely right about, but for the most part I thought it a nice summary. My belief about ADHD is that it is a real disorder that some are genetically predisposed too. So I, too, disagree with him on that. However, I think that if the children of our country spent less time watching tv and playing video games, and more time running around outdoors we'd see a dramatic decrease of these ADHD symptoms for those who aren't genetically predisposed to the disorder. I do believe for most it's an environmentally created disorder and therefore overmedicated. I have a hard time focusing or feeling motivated after watching a movie or spending a little time on the computer; if I did this for hours a day, I have no doubt I'd exhibit ADHD symptoms. I sincerely believe this is true for any other human brain.
I don't agree with what he said about ADHD, but it was otherwise interesting.
